HOW GRADING WORKS
Strong performance is visible, without hiding the pass standard.
The overall grade is the lower of the theory and practical grades. An excellent theory result therefore cannot disguise a weaker practical performance, and vice versa.

These are FLT Academy grading bands. The assessment sheets use Pass or Refer: theory requires at least 80% and all mandatory questions correct; the operator-level practical limit is 40 penalty points, with no mandatory disqualification.
