We believe effective forklift training should help operators understand both how to control equipment and why safe working practices matter. Our training is designed to be practical, supportive and relevant to real workplace environments.
FLT Academy is built on more than training theory. With 24 years of hands-on experience as a forklift truck driver, I understand the realities operators face in busy warehouses and working environments. That experience allows me to bring practical, real-world knowledge into the training room and onto the truck.
I know that becoming a safe and confident operator takes more than simply learning the controls. It means developing good habits, understanding the truck, reading the environment around you and making sensible decisions under real working conditions. That practical experience is at the heart of how I train.
We provide Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Bendi, PPT and VNA training with novice, conversion and refresher options. Novice courses run for 3–5 days depending on experience, while conversion and refresher courses each run for 1 day. Customers can train at our Kempston/Bedford location, while suitable businesses can also arrange training at their own warehouse or workplace.
